Mrs. Virginia Brock Watson, 87 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Watson was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Vander and Lacy Faircloth Brock.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Francis Watson and her son, Edward Ray Watson.  She was a retired supply technician for the Civil Service at Ft. Bragg.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheilah Gray and husband, David of Roseboro; grandson, William “Billy” Gray of Roseboro; and daughter-in-law, Melloney Watson of Autryville.
