Mrs. Susan (Pearsall) Melvin, 65 went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 1, 2023 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Peter’s Creek Baptist Church with Dr. David Bays officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Melvin was a native of Pampa, Texas, the daughter of John D. and Ramona Marchand Pearsall. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Kenneth Ray Melvin, Jr. (Tiffany); Robert Blake Melvin (Jennifer); and Joey Allen Melvin (Nora); nine grandchildren, Christopher Melvin, Nicky Melvin, Autum Melvin, Hunter Melvin, Bella Melvin, Skyler Melvin, Noah Melvin, Abel Melvin and Willow Melvin; and three brothers, Thomas Pearsall, Gary Pearsall and Bill Pearsall.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
