Reverend Colin Curtiss Tatum, 88 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at WakeMed Raleigh Campus Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Carlye, Reverend Tim Inman, and Reverend Dennis Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Reverend Tatum was a native of Bladen County, the son of William Geddie and Annie Davis Tatum. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Violet Hall Tatum; three brothers, Wilbur Tatum, Edgar Tatum and Edward Tatum; and four sisters, Macie, Myrtle, Ruby and Lois.

Reverend Tatum was in the Ministry for 65 years serving at Rowan PFWB, Garland PFWB, Pine Level PFWB, Congregational PFWB, Saint Delight PFWB, Hodges Chapel PFWB and Owen Grove PFWB.

He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Verdie Tatum and Olin Tatum; and his sister, Ruth Skinner.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
