Raymond “Ray” “Gadget Man” Bailey, Jr., 77 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at Northwood Temple Church, officiating will be Dr. John Hedgepeth.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence Bailey, and his sons, Thomas Holland and Donnie Holland, Jr.
Ray was a United States Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the State of North Carolina as he worked at a ABC Store, and his last employment was at Walmart being a greeter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Catherine Bailey of the home; daughters, Diane Rene` Mansfield of Fayetteville, Beverly Susan Parker & husband, Timothy of Hope Mills, and Jackie Patterson & husband, Patrick of Fayetteville; son, Frankie Bailey of VA; brother, Nick Karels & wife, Dawn of FL; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
