Mrs. Peggie Anne Williford Faircloth, 87 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church, officiating will be Dr. Michael Garrett.  Burial will follow at Love Faircloth Cemetery (Faircloth Bridge Road, Stedman).

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM prior to the service in the church parlor.

Mrs. Faircloth was a native of Nash County, the daughter of Harvey and Annie Leigh Jones Williford. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bullard Faircloth. She was secretary at Stedman Elementary School where she was fondly known as Mrs. Peggy.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Deborah Faircloth and husband, Brant of Stedman; grandson, Wilton Godwin of Goldsboro; granddaughter, Jennifer Thorndyke and husband, Jonathan of Omaha, Nebraska;  two step grandchildren, Chris Brock and wife, Kim, and Caroline Blick and husband, Jeff; three great-grandchildren, Edward, Elliott and Emerson; six step great-grandchildren, Emma Brown, Jay, Evie, Weston, Vivian and Stella; and two sisters, Nancy Williford Lee of Smithfield; and Shirley Ellis of Rocky Mount, NC.
