Mr. Paul Rudy Faircloth, 74 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at his home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:50 AM on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the son of Paul Ernest and Earnie Kate Sessoms Faircloth.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Doris and Vivian; a nephew, Lonnie Paul Faircloth; and two nieces, Brenda Ray Millspaugh and Margie Ray.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lucas Faircloth of the home; two daughters, Lori Grady and husband, Chris and Shannon Faircloth all of Roseboro; five grandchildren, Santana Melvin (Brantley), Lucas Tyndall (Amanda), Dalton Sessoms, Donovan Tew and Enola Tew; five great grandchildren, Gavin Lockwood, Abigail Melvin, Brantley Melvin, Jr., Damon Tyndall and Eve Tyndall; three brothers, Earl Faircloth (Gail), Herman Faircloth (Jean) and Billy Dean Faircloth (Kay); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
