Mr. Raven Jones Locklear, 63

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Raven Jones Locklear, 63, of Fayetteville passed away at his home Saturday, May 25, with his family at his side. He was born in Robeson County, the son of the late Dwight Lewis Jones and Ethel Mae Locklear. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Raven Jones Locklear, Jr. and three brothers, James Wesley Locklear, Craven Locklear and Dwight Lewis Jones, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 31 at Eastside Church of God with Rev. Leon Young officiating. Burial will follow at the Chavis Family Cemetery in Rowland. He is survived by: wife, Janice Chavis Locklear of the home; daughter, Rhonda Michelle Evans of Parkton; sons, Shawn Christopher Locklear, William Keith Locklear and Steven Terrelle Locklear, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Janice Ann Jones and Carolyn Pena; brothers, Mark Allen Jones and Martin Locklear; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 31 at Eastside Church of God with Rev. Leon Young officiating. Burial will follow at the Chavis Family Cemetery in Rowland.
