ROSEBORO
Mr. Henry Glidwell Fann, 84 of 947 McPhail Road died Saturday September 2, 2006 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 5, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John McLamb and the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Fann was a native of Sampson County and the son of the late Braxton Fann and Katie Warren. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Helen Rose Howard Fann; and one grandson, Dexter Fann. He was a farmer.
Mr. Fann is survived by: five daughters, Annette Danks of Roseboro, Henrietta Forsythe of Autryville, Carrie Holland of Salemburg, Vicki McPhail of Roseboro, and Lisa Tyndall of Roseboro; three sons, Billy Fann of Salemburg, Jimmy Fann of Roseboro, and Danny Fann of Roseboro; two sisters, Doris Spell of Dunn, and Eleanor Blanchard of Godwin; 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 P.M. at the Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
