She devoted her life to being a homemaker. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her passion and devotion, and she treasured the annual family beach trip that still continues. She also enjoyed decorating her home and was a charter member of the Flora McDonald Garden Club.
Mrs. Carter was a very active member for more than sixty years in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Vander, where she served for many years in the Nursery and was faithful in her Sunday School class and women’s prayer group.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caretakers and staff at Carolina Inn Assisted Living and additional caretakers Bertha McRae, Sue Rink, and staff from HomeInstead Senior Care for their expert caring skills and love which enriched her last years. You are most appreciated.
