Mrs. Lonnie Jane Fisher Hales, 88 passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Steve Reeves officiating. The burial will follow at William and Lonnie Fisher Hales Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mrs. Hales was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Ronnie and Clara Bell Davis Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Hales; daughter, Becky Hales Lucas; granddaughter, Regina Pratt; grandson, Richard Lucas; brother, James Fisher; and two sisters, Allean Tanner and Nellie Bass. She was a faithful member of Roseboro PFWB Church and taught Sunday school for over thirty years.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Hales Thompson and husband, Shawn of the home; great grandson, Justin Pratt; two great granddaughters, Heather Lucas and fiance, Tyler Williams of Salemburg; and Hannah Lucas and fiance, Arron Wilkinson of Roseboro; two great great granddaughters, Paityn Shaw and Riley Wilkinson; beloved dog, Izzy; brother, Robert Fisher of Roseboro; four sisters, Clara Ann Nichlos of Jacksonville; Pearl Honeycutt of Dunn; Elsie Ennis of Dunn; and Doris Jackson of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
