Mrs. Lexie Rae Scheel Owen, 73 of Eastover passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 24 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Jonathan Hill and Rev. Jim Owen officiating.  A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 2:50 PM  at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service.

Mrs. Owen was a native of Sioux Falls, SD the daughter of the late Wilbert W. and Lois E. Brush Scheel. She was a homemaker and worked in children ministries.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Owen of the home; two daughters, Jamie Given and husband, Tom of Virginia and Jodie Bullard and husband, Doug of Sanford; six grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Madison, Megan, Malorie and Maguire; two brothers, Ron Scheel of Texas and Doug Scheel of Arkansas.
