Mr. Larry "Shag" Neal Hinson, 66 passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Autryville New Life Church of God, officiating will be Rev. Larry Autry and Rev. Phil Lloyd.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church before the service.

Larry was born in Sampson County to the late Lester Hinson and Helen Hodges Hinson.  He is also preceded in death by a son, Nolan Ryan Hinson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Vickie Britt Hinson of the home; children, Christy Hernandez & husband, Carlos of Dunn, Amanda Clark & husband, James, Jr. of Autryville, Joe Hinson & wife, Heather of Dunn, Jessica Bramble & husband, Chris of Hope Mills, and Gary Hinson of Fayetteville; 19 grandchildren; 1 great grandson on the way; and his siblings, Alice Faye Bullock of Stedman, Richard Hinson & wife, Becky of Stedman,  Allen Hinson & wife, Venita of Autryville, Julie Autry & husband, Larry of Autryville, and Cathy Martin of Stedman.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
