Larry Gray Vinson, Sr. 73 passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Tommy Honeycutt.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 10:50 am Saturday at the funeral home before the service.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, James and Vestal Parker Vinson; wife, Deborah Sue Vinson; and his brothers, Bucky and Jerry Vinson.

Larry was an avid farming enthusiast, especially tractors.  He loved his family, and he especially loved his grandchildren.  He often ate at Kinlaw’s and The New York Restaurant.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Larry Gray Vinson II & wife, Megan of Stedman; daughter, Melissa Starling & husband, Jamie of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Liam Gray Vinson and Insley Deborah-Rose Vinson; siblings, Viola Beal & husband, Junior of Cedar Creek, Dean Vinson of Clement, Rebecca Gehl & husband, Rick of Southern Pines, Roger Vinson of Beaver Dam, and Tracy Krick & husband, Ken of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
