Snow Camp

Mrs. Kay Lutterloh Wood, 75 of Snow Camp went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 19, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May  23, 2023 at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, 4178 Mt. Hermon Rock Creek Road, Graham, NC with Rev. Andy Wood officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:50 PM on Tuesday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Wood was a native of Alamance County, the daughter of Thomas and Norva Lee Robinson Lutterloh.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Daniel Lutterloh and David Lutterloh; a sister, Glenda Wolfe.

Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all.  She was retired from the NC Department of Transportation.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Edward “Eddie” Wood of the home; two sons, Craig Wood and wife, Christy of Haw River and Michael Wood and wife, Kristi of Snow Camp; three grandchildren, Zach Wood and wife, Kristy of Haw River, Zoe Wood and wife, Haley of Graham and Haley Ballard and husband, Bryce of Graham; three great- grandchildren, Katherine Wood, Caroline Wood and Waylon Ballard; two sisters, Barbara Lutterloh of Burlington and Faye Holt and husband, Darrell of Graham; two brothers, Ronnie Lutterloh and wife, Carole and Raymond Lutterloh and wife, Amy all of Burlington; honorary son, Derek Dixon and wife, Kawana and honorary grandchildren, Stoney Dixon, Caldwell Dixon and Brody Dixon; and many loving nieces and nephews.
