ROSEBORO, NC -
Mr. Junius Ivey Faircloth, 87 of Roseboro, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Morningside of Raleigh Assisted Living.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, January 10, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, S. Salemburg Highway, Salemburg with Reverend Rick McDuffie officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 10:00 to 10:45am at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
He was born January 19, 1931 in Sampson County and was the son of James Ransom and Gladys Usher Faircloth. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean Conflict and worked as a Plant Manager with Thomason Industries. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Williams Faircloth; and a grandson, David Stephen Dowd.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Faircloth Dowd (husband, Stephen) of Fayetteville, and Phyllis Faircloth McArthur of Raleigh; one son, Travis Ivey Faircloth of Roseboro; one sister, Dorothy Ann Faircloth Brock (husband, Larry) of Easley, SC; one brother, Harry Thomas Faircloth (wife, Linda) of Roseboro; three grandchildren, Stephanie Dowd McDougald, Lauren McArthur Hobson, and Ashley Faircloth Legg; and nine great grandchildren.
