SALEMBURG
Mr. Joshua "Josh Mac" Nelson McLamb, 31 of Salemburg, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Clinton Family Worship Center, 103 Raiford Street, Clinton, with Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating. Graveside service with fireman honors will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 991 Corinth Church Road, Salemburg, with Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating.
Josh was born on June 20, 1990 in Sampson County to Johnny Nelson and Wanda Marley McLamb. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandmother, Laura Lane Honeycutt. Josh was a member of Salemburg Volunteer Fire Department, worked as a Supervisor with Sampson County 911 Communications, and was a Graduate of Lakewood High School class of 2008.
Josh is survived by his wife, Brittany Levy McLamb; children, Rilynn Ann McLamb, Alanna Beth Carey; mother, Wanda McLamb West and husband, Kenneth; sister, Tiffany McLamb Horne and husband, Jeremy; nephews, Landon Carter Johnson, Hunter Lane Horne; niece, Violet May Levy; grandparents, Paul W. Honeycutt, Colon and Brenda Marley; uncles and aunts, Tommy and Lynn McLamb, Kent and Robyn McLamb, Scott McLamb and wife, Sylvia, Keith and Robin Marley, Timothy and Michelle Marley; numerous cousins; father-in-law, Harvey Eugene Levy, Jr. and wife, Bonnie; mother-in-law, Patricia Beth Price and husband, Jeffrey; brother-in-law, Julian Cody Levy; granparents-in-law, Mary Coble Brown and husband, Ronnie, Harvey Eugene Levy, Sr. and wife, Linda.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday evening at Clinton Family Worship Center, and other times at his home.
Memorials may be to Brittany Levy McLamb for Josh Mac's Christmas of Hope to purchase Christmas gifts for children inpatient during Christmas at UNC Children's Hospital and Rex Cancer Center.
