Mr. Joseph Pittman Bullard, 68 passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, February 15, 2021 at Evergreen Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Charles Davis and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Monday at the church prior to the service.

He was born in Sampson County to the late Aaron McNeil Bullard and Jerald Clementine Horne Bullard.  He was an industrial mechanic with Monsanto for 30 years, with the Army National Guard for 6 years, lifetime member and Deacon of Evergreen Baptist Church, and was an employee in the parts department of Powers Swain Chevrolet.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Bullard of the home; son, Joseph McNeil Bullard of Roseboro; brothers, Neil Bullard (Cathy) of Fayetteville, Roy Bullard (Mary) of Roseboro, and Harry Bullard (Phyllis) of Burlington; brother-in-law, LeRoy Hall (Brenda); nieces, Rene Walker, Kelly Bullard, Melissa Simpson, Temple Dillman (Jake), Leah Hall, Nicole Higginbotham (Shannon) and Nelson Vann (Shannon); nephew, Nathan Lester; and several great nephews and nieces.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC  28391.
