Mr. Jerry Dixon Worley, 77 of 4412 Dunn Rd, Roseboro went to his Heavenly home on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 9 at Union Grove Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Larry Autry officiating. There will be a walk through viewing on Monday, March 8 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro without the family present due to Covid 19.
Mr. Worley was born September 26, 1943 in Sampson County to the late Newton Dixon Worley and Annie Mildred Worley. He was a devoted husband, daddy, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved providing for his family in any way. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and spending time at the lake. He retired from West Point Stevens as a plant engineer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Phyllis Worley. Children Ginger Worley Alphin and husband Johnnie; Jeffery Dixon Worley and wife, Amanda; Heather Branch and husband Donald; Adam Jackson. Grand Children Ashley Williams Bullard (Brandon), Madeline Worley Murphy (Dalton), Bryson Newton Worley (Camillia), Mason Branch, Madison Branch, Emily Jackson, Rachel Jackson, Ian Jackson. Great Grand Children; Addison Bullard, Asher Murphy, and Liam Bullard. Jerry is also survived by his siblings Carolyn Holland, Brenda Carroll (Ken), Ricky Worley (Kay), Ron Worley (Kaylyn).
