Mr. James Elliott “Tiny” Nunnery, 42 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 8 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Deborah Rich officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 7 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mr. Nunnery was a native of Sampson County, the son of James Benjamin and Linda Tew Nunnery. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, LeAnne “Lulu” Nunnery.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Crystal Nunnery and boyfriend, Tyler Simmons of Roseboro; two children, Brittany Nunnery and Dalton Nunnery both of Roseboro; sister, Melissa Robyn Gatlin and husband, Bucky Gatlin of Autryville; girlfriend, Heather McLeod and children, James Blake Bradford, Jr., and Leikai McLeod all of the home; two nephews, Benjamin Gatlin and Brody Gatlin; and niece, Stacy White and son, Tatum Simmons.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 638, Roseboro, NC 28382 to help the family off set the funeral expenses.
