Honesta (Autry) Faircloth

AUTRYVILLE

Mrs. Honesta Autry Faircloth, 94 of Autryville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Bryan Strickland and Reverend Andy Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at Wiley Autry Cemetery.

Honesta was born on December 19, 1926 in Sampson County and was the daughter of Ballard B. and Maggie Pearl Autry.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Odell Faircloth; a daughter, Melody Ruth; her son, Jeffery Faircloth; a son-in-law, Robert Gregory; three brothers, Grover Autry, Earl Clayton Autry, Wiley B. Autry; and five sisters, Ruth Eris Tyndall, Romelia Stanley, Elizabeth Sessoms, Janie Sova, Pachie Johnson.  She retired from Hamilton Beach.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Joyce Gregory of Burgaw and Susie Bullard and husband, William of Roseboro; two sisters, Bertie Mae Daniels of Autryville and Kitty Klug of Williston, ND; son-in-law David Ruth of Hope Mills; brother-in-law Tony Sova of Autryville; five grandchildren, Alecia Williamson (Mark), Ryan Gregory, Stephanie White (Jason), Adam Bullard (Ashley) and Christopher Ruth (Nicole); eight great grandchildren, Tyler White, Foster and Sophie Williamson. Lauren Bullard, Graycen, Charley and Cassel Ruth and Christian Easton; also several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:50 PM on Thursday at Butler Funeral Home and at other times at her home.
