Ms. Hazel Autry, 88 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at The Carrolton of Dunn Nursing Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Clement Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Jeremy Autry.   Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday at the church prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Autry and Nellie Weatherford Autry; husband, J.D. Autry; her siblings, Robert Autry, Hyacinth Holmes and Lewis Autry; and her step mother, Annie Laura Autry.

Hazel was a longtime faithful member of Clement Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister who will be truly missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Leonard Autry of Dunn, and Wayne Autry  & wife, Emily of White Lake; brother, Ronnie Autry & wife, Jeanne of Dunn; grandchildren, Leonard Keith Autry, Jr. & wife, Christina Mintz of Vass, Jeremy Autry & wife, Cheryl of Dunn, Kelley Autry of Aberdeen, and Eryn Autry & fiance’, Ricky Tew of Parkton; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
