Harold Emmitt Lewis, 84 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM Monday at Cumberland Union Baptist Church (6987 Tabor Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312), officiating will be Rev. Larry Wilkes and Rev. Brooks Grimes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Irvin Lewis and Ada Howard Lewis; son, Emmitt Lewis; brother, Irvin Lewis, Jr.; and a sister, Margie Webb.
Harold was a member of Cumberland Union Baptist Church. He also was a manager with mortgage companies, CIT Financial Services and Associates Financial for 45 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ruby Catherine Faircloth Lewis of the home; daughter, Leslie Wheeler & husband, Sherwood of Hesston, KS; granddaughter, Hannah Wheeler of Wichita, KS; and his sister, Rebecca Krautkramer of Sanford.
