Mr. Gregory Nunnery, 82, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Gregory was the son of the late Troy C. Nunnery, Sr. and Roney Mae Matthews Nunnery. Gregory retired after 36 years in telecommunications. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rev. Troy C. Nunnery, Jr. (Frances Cashwell) and Kenneth Wayne Nunnery; sisters, Audrey Faye Nunnery and Betty Nunnery Bullard (Edward Lamar); step-father, Bonnie Autry; step-sister, Edna Earle Faircloth; niece, Ashley Leigh Nunnery and nephews, Harold Glenn Nunnery and Capt. David Neal Faircloth.

Surviving nieces: Sandra McDonald (Doug), Brittany Carroll, Carol Nunnery, Olivia Narron (Jason), Haley Nunnery, April Monroe (Doug), Adalynn Bullard and McKayla Brown.

Surviving nephews: Troy Lamar Bullard (Jennifer), Kenneth Lee Nunnery (Renee Cain), Kevin Carroll, Troy Wayne Nunnery, Tyler Carroll, Seth Nunnery, Johnathan Shofner Bullard, Johnathon Edward Bullard, Colt Narron and Johnathan Hairr.

Also surviving is his sister-in-law, Virginia Norris Nunnery.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Roseboro Cemetery with the Reverend Hampton Faircloth officiating.
