Faye Faircloth Fisher, 90 passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.

Faye was born in Sampson County to the late, Miles and Cladie Faircloth.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Delanion Fisher; sons, Kenneth Fisher and David Fisher; brother,  Donnie Faircloth; and her sister, Jacqueline Chestnutt.

She retired from Wellman Inc. and was also a volunteer for several years with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Mark Fisher, Jeffrey Fisher & wife, Jane, and Daniel Fisher; brother, Bud Durand Faircloth & wife, Judith; sisters, Glynda McLaurin and Mary Lou Brock & husband Coy; grandchildren, Holly Lee, Kelly Rivera, John Fisher, Katelynn Johnson, Charles Fisher, Julie Shaw, Garrett Fisher, Kendall Fisher, and Amanda Cockman; and 9 great grandchildren.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
