Mrs. Eleanor (Simpson) Gardner, 82 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Harmony of Hope Mills.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Peter’s Creek Baptist Church with Dr. David Bays officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. David Bays officiating.

Mrs. Gardner was the daughter of Frank and Frances Melvin Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Gardner; her grandson, Aaron Gardner; two sisters, Brenda Hales and Lula Mae Brock; and three brothers, Bernice Simpson, Terry Simpson and Vernon Simpson. She was a bank teller and a member of Peter’s Creek Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Donna Vitale and husband, Ralph of Stedman; her son, Russell Gardner of Roseboro; two grandchildren, Deanna Putchaconis and Leslie Putchaconis; and her sister, Joyce Faircloth and husband, Weldon of Autryville.
