Surf City
Mr. Earl Junior Faircloth, 85 of Surf City and formerly of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice Center.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Masonic Rites will follow the service.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:50 PM on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mr. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the son of Paul E. and Earnie Kate Sessoms Faircloth. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dorothea Hall Faircloth; son, Lonnie Paul Faircloth; two sisters, Vivian Faircloth and Doris Faircloth Pope; brother, Rudy Faircloth.
He was a retired assistant manager with the Boren Brick Company. He was a member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 585 and the Sudan Shriners. He was a retired SGT with the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Faircloth of the home; daughter, Rosa Faye Faircloth and husband, Henry Bullard of Roseboro; son, Frankie “Pete” Faircloth and wife, Lorie of Autryville; daughter-in-law, Carmen Faircloth of Creedmoor, NC; two brothers, Herman Faircloth of Hampstead and Billy Faircloth and wife, Kay of Roseboro; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to his caregiver, Ms. Ann and also to the staff of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice for their love and care of Earl and the family.
