Mr. Danny Franklin Naylor, 71 of Clinton passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 23 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Porter and Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. There will be masonic rites at the cemetery.
Mr. Naylor was a native of Sampson County, the son of Verlie and Cherry Pearl Parker Naylor. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a retired car salesman. He was a member of Coharie Masonic Lodge # 379 and the Sudan Shriners. He was past president of the Wilmington Shrine Club and a past member of the Drum and Bugle Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Lane of the home; son, Dennis Franklin Naylor of the home; daughter, Deeidra Reyes and husband, Carlos of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Cydney Reyes, Chase Reyes and Ziara Naylor; two sisters, Ann Spell of West Jefferson and Faye Godwin of Garner; and several nieces and nephews.
