Mrs. Christie Tyndall Jackson, 47 went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Matthew Creech and Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. The burial will follow at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with fireman honors.

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Jackie T. and Leta Ann Strickland Tyndall.  She was member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  She was a former teacher assistant with Salemburg Elementary School.  She was a Fire Medic with Herring Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Ladies Auxiliary.  She also loved her fur babies and her grandbabies.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ollen Glenn Jackson; two sons, Ollen Brett Jackson and wife, Alison, and Houston Clayton Jackson and Harley Hardison; two grandsons, Weston Jackson and Hudson Jackson; her fur babies, Taz and Jada; her parents, Jackie and Ann Tyndall;  her brother, Dwight Tyndall and wife, Sabra; her sister, Beth Gainey and husband, Chris; her mother-in-law, Glenda Carraway and husband, Jimmy;  her father-in-law, Billy Jackson and wife, Sharon; her two brothers-in-law, Billy Reid Jackson and wife, Patty, and Robin Jackson and wife, Kim; her step sister-in-law, Tina Woody and husband, Chris; nieces and nephews, Hunter (Ridley), Christian, Maddi, Ava, Allen (Sarah), Preston (Katti), Samantha (Robert), Hollee, Anslee, Stephanie (Brian), and Mikayla; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church for the Playground Fund, 11341 N US-421, Clinton, NC 28328.
