Mrs. Carolyn Worley Holland, 79 of Roseboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 17 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Larry McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Holland was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Newton Dixon and Annie Mildred Hairr Worley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Holland; brother, Jerry Worley and a niece, Katie Worley. She was retired from M. J. Soffe.
Carolyn was a loving mother, sister and friend, who never met a stranger. She had a loving and caring heart and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by a daughter, Renee Cain of Autryville; son, Carl Cain of Salemburg; step-daughter, Angela Holland of Roseboro; step-son, Ronnie Holland of Texas; sister, Brenda Carroll and husband, Kenneth of Autryville; two brothers, Rickie Worley and wife, Kay of Salemburg and Ronnie Worley and wife, Kaylyn of Texas; four step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren; a special friend, T. L. Edwards of Roseboro and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at her home.
