Bobby Gene McDonald, 67 passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at McLamb’s Nursing Home in Benson.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Louis Pender.

Bobby was born in Sampson County to the late Jessie and Mamie McDonald.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, James McDonald; twin brother, Bobby Charles McDonald; and a sister, Flonnie Carvin.

Bobby worked for Wellons Construction as a truck driver for over 20 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his nephews, Maurice Carvin & wife, Contesia, and Larry Brown all of Dunn; nieces, Amy and Jessica Carvin both of Dunn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
