Bobby Bishop Hayes, 54 of Hope Mills, North Carolina passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.  

A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Reverend Don Capell officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:30 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Bobby was born on March 15, 1968.  He was Big Guy with a Bigger Heart, who never met a stranger.  People always gravitated toward Bobby because he was full of life, jokes, and made everyone feel special.  Bobby was the type of guy who helped so many people behind the scenes and never spoke a word, nor expected anything in return.  He loved being in church, gospel music, and singing. Bobby enjoyed his life’s work as a contractor, and had a special place in his heart for Ramirez Renovations.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ransom Wade of Rowland, North Carolina.  He is survived by his mother, Elnora Martin of Hope Mills, sisters:  Linda Faye Tenhoeve, Ruby Loughman (Tim), and Carol Givens (Lynn), brothers:  John Page (Shirley), Cecil Wade (Darlene), Augustus “Tommy” Ratley, and Charles Wade (Jeanne).  Fifteen nieces and nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews.  Bobby will truly be missed by his family and friends.  Until we see you again Bobby, take your rest in the arms of Jesus!
