Mr. Alex Russell Arnette, 70 of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the UNC Rex Hospital.
A private graveside service for family and friends will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 25 at Roseboro Cemetery with Rev. Stan Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 PM on Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mr. Arnette was a native of Sampson County, the son of Malcom and Minnie Wilma Treadaway Arnette. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Minnie Arnette of Clinton; two sisters, Sylvia Best and husband, Robert of Clinton and Shirley Arnette of Fayetteville; one brother, Larry Arnette of Roseboro; several nieces and nephews.
