Mrs. Yevette Hayes Naylor, 83

Mrs. Yevette Hayes Naylor, 83, of 1761 Crumpler Mill Road, Salemburg, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 2 PM at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Naylor was born in Sampson County to the late Arthur and Winnie Royal Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Kermit Naylor. She worked as a therapy aid at Pilgrim State Hospital before retiring. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Mrs. Naylor is survived by: daughter, Darlene Naylor, of Florence, SC; two sisters, Winniefred Sparks, of Salemburg and Mildred McCoy, of Wilmington; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
