Mr. Wingate Fuller Cain, Jr., 83 of White Oak, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, June 22, at White Oak Baptist Church, 9724 NC Highway 53 W., White Oak, with Reverend Keith Dowd officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Church Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wingate Fuller Cain and Lula Mae Shaw Cain. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Faye Brisson Cain; siblings, Katherine Dupuis, Elwood Cain, Sybil Biconish and Dorothy Cain. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army, and worked as a Cable Splicer with Civil Service.

He is survived by his children, Sybil Amanda Logan and husband Francis, Kimberly Cain Carroll and husband Stewart, Richard Cain, and David Cain; grandchildren, Justin, Tommy, Troy, and Tessa Cain; and sisters, Isla Gipson, and Polly Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, June 21, in the Fellowship Hall of White Oak Baptist Church.
