Mr. Winford Winston Padgett

ELIZABETHTOWN Mr. Winford Winston Padgett, 79, of 13160 NC Highway 242 North, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Bladen County Hospital Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 4:00 P. M. at Windsor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Reaves and Rev. Neill Smith officiating. Burial will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Padgett was the son of the late Columbus C. and Mattie English Padgett. He was a printer in the newspaper industry before retiring. Mr. Padgett is survived by: wife, Elzola C. Padgett, of the home; two daughters, Veona Padgett Hicks and husband Dean, of Garland and Karen Cangelosi, of Salt Springs, FL; son, Gary W. Padgett, of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Nicholas Hicks. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7-9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
