Mr. Winford Ray Hales, 75

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Winford Ray Hales, 75 of 1865 Leroy Autry Road, died on Sunday March 4, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Carrie Parrish and Rev. Maurice Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Halls United Methodist Church Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Hales was born in 1931 in Sampson County to the late Raeford and Charlotte Sessoms Hales. He was past Master of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge No. 585 A.F. & A.M. He was owner and operator of Ray Hales Store. Mr. Hales is survived by: his wife, Annette Hales of the home; one daughter, Brenda Horne of Autryville; one son, Ronnie Hales of Autryville; three grandchildren, Heather Horne, Randy Hales, and Brittney Horne; and one sister, Shirley Hales of Autryville. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
