Mrs. Wilma Shirley Smith

Roseboro Mrs. Wilma Shirley Smith went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 4, 2008 in the loving home of her son Glenn surrounded by family. She fought a long and valiant battle against cancer and she passed as she lived, with dignity and respect. Shirley is preceded in death by her father and mother, Claude and Nellie Simpson. She is survived by a devoted husband of 52 years, Chester; three sons, Tim, Jimmy and Glenn and three daughters-in-laws, Deborah, Debbie and Paula as well as 5 beautiful grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking care of her husband. She will be missed. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Roseboro Cemetery with the Rev.
