Mrs. Wilma Sexton Loeschen Barefoot, 82 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Chisti Christianson and Rev. Bobby Herring.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Saturday at the funeral home before the service.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Elson Sexton and Wilma Clyde Hunt Sexton; daughter, Melissa J. Barefoot; son, David Loeschen; brother, Jerry Cashwell; and a sister, Mary Louise McCool.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 38 years, M B Barefoot of the home; daughter, Sara L. Stephen of Salemburg; grandchildren, Melissa Deem & husband, Chris of Crestview, FL, Donald R. Turner, Jr. & wife, Kelly of Autryville, Matthew Barefoot of Melbourne, FL, and James Turner & wife, Donna of Baton Rouge, LA; 12 great grandchildren; and sisters, Joan Holland of Roseboro and Brenda Jackson of Fayetteville.
