SALEMBURG
Ms. Wilma Naylor McLamb, 92 of 1741 Tyndall Bridge Road, died on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Gore and Rev. Fred Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.
Ms. McLamb was born on May 27, 1919 in Sampson County to the late Minson and Tera Jane Royal Naylor. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Jefferson Tew.
She is survived by: her daughter, Betty Carolyn Tew of Roseboro; two sons, Norbert McLamb and wife, Louise of Fayetteville and Wade McLamb of Salemburg; one granddaughter, Pam Stanford of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three grandsons, Steven McLamb and wife, Shirley of Salemburg, Chris McLamb and wife, Tina of Fayetteville and Michael McLamb and wife, Jeanne of Monroe; two great grandsons, Jay Tew of Godwin and Michael McLamb, Jr. of Monroe; and three great granddaughters, Crystal Tart of Roxboro, Madison Tew of Godwin and Alyssa McLamb of Monroe.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home of her daughter, 1312 Deb Road, Roseboro.
