Willie Joyce (Sessoms) Faircloth, 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 with her family by her side.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Joey Dockery and Rev. Michael Shook.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.

She was a longtime dedicated member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, a great bowler and she also loved watching sports.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Willie Joyce was born in Sampson County to the late Leonard Jasper Sessoms and Dollie Margaret Faircloth Sessoms.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Worth Hampton Faircloth, Sr.; and her brothers, Elbert, Carl, Earl, Sam and Larry Sessoms.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Hampton Faircloth & wife, Teresa of Roseboro, Joe Faircloth & wife, Rhonda of Shallotte, Brenda Holland of Wilmington and Stephen Faircloth & wife, Summerlyn of Roseboro; sister, Betty Jo Horne & husband, Marshall of Garland; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Church Road, Roseboro, NC  28382.
