Mr. William J Tippett, 69 of Roseboro passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2021 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 6 at the Simpson Family Cemetery with Rev. Tim McQueen officiating.

William was a native of Sampson County, the son of Charles Howard and Frances Lockamy Tippett. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a retired employee of the Goodyear Tire Company.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Teddy” Tippett of the home; son, William Christopher Tippett and wife, Amy Nichole of Autryville; three grandchildren, Alaina Tippett, Caleb Tippett and Addison Tippett; two sisters, Joyce Kelly and husband Thomas of Burlington and Dorothy Sasser and husband, Shaffter of Hallsboro; brother, Charles Tippett and wife, Shirley of Burlington.

The family will receive friends at the home of Chris and Amy Tippett, 8414 Beaver Dam Road, Autryville, NC.
