FAYETTEVILLE Mr. William Andrew "Andy" Pierpoint, 52 of 4053 Cedar Creek Road, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Mike Shugrue officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Mr. Pierpoint was born on January 13, 1959 in Alexandria, Virginia, to Edward Stephens and Bertie Nunnery Pierpoint. He is preceded in death by his father. He worked as a Construction Administrator with SFL&A Architects. He is survived by: his wife, Rebecca Royal Pierpoint of the home; one daughter, Madison Pierpoint of the home; one son, Stephen Pierpoint of the home; his mother, Bertie N. Jessup of the home; two brothers, Edward Stephens Pierpoint of Florida and David Paul Pierpoint of Fayetteville; and two step-brothers, Don Jessup of Fayetteville and James Jessup of Florida. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
