Mr. William Preston Nordan, 84 passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Woodlands Nursing & Rehab Center in Fayetteville.

He was born in Harnett County to the late William Parker Nordan and Lillie Woolard Nordan. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Eula Mae (Maynor) Nordan ; daughter, Patricia Ann Garcia; and his siblings, Maude Jackson, Sally Buckman, Matthew "Bud" Nordan, Alda "Sister" Buffkin, William Joel Nordan, David Nordan, Annie Nordan, Moses Nordan, Ruby Skinner and Walter Nordan.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Jane Scally Nordan of the home; children, Phyllis Clark & husband, Robert of Chicago, IL, Glenda Kasza & husband, Timothy of West Chicago, IL, William K. Nordan of Dixon, IL, John Redding of Autryville, NC, Shelia Williams of Cameron, NC, and Terry Draughon & wife, Donna of Moultre, GA; brother, Fred Nordan & wife, June of Fayetteville, NC and sister, Eloise Moffett of Fort Myers, FL. He was also a dear grandfather of 19, great grandfather of 23 and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, officiating will be Dr. James Dees. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30pm to 3:00pm before the service.
