Mr. William Moody Naylor, 82 passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Sandy Horne Cemetery in Autryville with military honors, officiating will be Rev. Larry West.

The family will receive friends other times at the home of Kay Faircloth 200 John Nunnery Road, Stedman, NC 28391.

He was born in Sampson County to the late William Preston Naylor and Mary Francis Sessoms Naylor. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee Horne Naylor; and brother, Earl Naylor.

He was a United States Army Veteran and he retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation with 40 plus years of service.

He is survived by his step daughters, Nancy Cashwell & husband, Larry and Karen Faircloth & friend, Frankie Bolton; brother, Minson Naylor & wife, Phyllis; grandchildren, Amanda Shaffer & husband, Brad, Billy Joe Cashwell & friend, Kimberly Windmiller, Misty Carter & husband, Bryan and Ashley Brown & husband, David; great grandchildren, Matthew Lee Brown, Bryley K. Carter and Braylen M. Carter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Concord Baptist Church, P.O. Box 429, Stedman, NC 28391.
