FAYETTEVILLE
Mr. William Otis Jolly died on June 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1920 in Sampson County the son of the late Dan A. Jolly and Sharon Spell Jolly. He was a World War II US Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Mugford. He retired from M & O Chevrolet Company as a mechanic with 20 plus years of service. He was also predeceased by his wife, Erma Taylor Jolly.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28th at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, NC, with Rev. Jane Jones and Rev. Robert Faircloth officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Mr. Jolly is survived by daughter, Judy J. Beasley and husband John T. of Fayetteville; sons, Denny K. Jolly and wife, Melanie of Oak Island and Billy Ray Jolly and wife, Linda of Sumter, SC; Step-sisters, Lossie Mae Stewart and Iree Byrd; Grandchildren, John A. Cain, Jr. of Eastover, Tammy Barry and husband, George of Fayetteville and Jason Jolly of Sanford. Also surviving are 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
