William "W.J." John Goodrich, Sr.

Mr. William John "W.J." Goodrich, Sr., 77 passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 5, 2018 at Corinth Baptist Church in Salemburg, officiating will be Rev. W. A. Creech and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Love Goodrich and Nannie Lewis Goodrich and brother, Woody Goodrich.

He was the owner and operator of Goodrich Brothers Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Goodrich of the home; son, William Goodrich & wife, Laura of Clinton; daughter, Kelly Goodrich Collier & husband, David of Wade; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Holloman & husband, Nick, Heather Goodrich & Ryan Hall - extended family and Taylor Collier & Eric McPhail - extended family; 2 great grandchildren, William Camden Holloman and Eliza Jane Holloman; 2 brothers, Charlie Goodrich & wife Emily of Salemburg and Donnie Goodrich & wife, Daphne of Williamsburg, VA.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the home and from 1:00pm to 1:45pm Monday at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in W.J.'s honor to Corinth Baptist Church, 991 Corinth Church Road, Salemburg, NC  28385.
