Mr. William H. Horne, 75

AUTRYVILLE Mr. William Henry "Hank" Horne, 75 of 1134 Holland Road, Autryville, died on Friday, January 15, 2010 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Rogers and Rev. Joe Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at the George Horne Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Horne was born on March 11, 1934 in Sampson County to the late William Ashford and Lonnie Pearl Carter Horne. He is preceded in death by: one son, Henry Douglas Horne; one brother, Buck Horne; and two sisters, Margaret Phillips and Vickie Horne. He worked in the Construction industry with ES & J Enterprises. Mr. Horne is survived by: his wife, Esther Griffin Horne of the home; one son, William Leslie "Bill" Horne of Autryville; one daughter, Judy Horne Ramsey of South Carolina; six sisters, Mary Hall of Clinton, Edna Honeycutt of Bethany, Carolyn Fisher of Autryville, Helen Freeman of Stedman, Vivian Hendrick of Virginia, and Ellen Smith of Clinton; two brothers, David Horne of New York, and Ray Horne of Roseboro; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
