Mr. William Earl Hairr, 81

SALEMBURG

Mr. William Earl Hairr, 81 of Salemburg, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Autumn Wind Assisted Living.

He was born on August 4, 1935 in Sampson County and is preceded in death by his parents, William and Della Jane Holland Hairr; and his wife, Madeline McLamb Hairr. He worked as a builder in the home construction industry.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Earl Hairr and wife Beverly of Roseboro; daughters, Sarah Denise Williams and husband Michael of Roseboro, Kathy Lynn Faircloth and husband Troy of Clinton; sister, Jean Hairr Knowles of Roseboro; brother, Alger Leevon Hairr and wife Magdelene of Salemburg; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Hollands Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2069 Huntley School Road, Roseboro, with Pastor Billy Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 740 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm Wednesday prior to the service, and other times at 6560 Bonnetsville Road, Clinton.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
