Mr. William Carlton Davis, 70, of Garland passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the home of his daughter.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 28 at Peter's Creek Baptist Church with Dr. David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

Mr. Davis was born on August 27, 1945 to the late William Foster and Annie Laura Rich Davis. He was a retired supervisor with the NC Department of Corrections.

He is survived by one daughter, Melinda Owen and husband, Greg of Clinton; one son, Randy Davis and wife, Melissa of Clinton; three granddaughters, Kera Hairr and husband, Walt, Sophia Owen and Katie Davis; two great grandsons, Jaden Hairr and Walker Hairr; one sister, Carolyn Faircloth of Stedman; three brothers, Lloyd Davis of Garland, Donnie Davis of Roseboro and Tommie Davis of Roseboro.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home of Greg and Melinda Owen, 2854 Isaac Weeks Road, Clinton, NC.
