William "Billy" Carrol Morrison

Mr. William “Billy” Carrol Morrison, 72, of Autryville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Reverend Jeff Bartlett, Reverend Ivan Dickey, and Reverend Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Wiley Autry Cemetery in Autryville.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:50 AM on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the service.

Mr. William was born in Cumberland County on June 24, 1952, the son of William Daniel Morrison and Mabelle Short Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mike; and a sister, Dottie.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rita Morrison; four daughters, Crystal, Christy, Ashley, and Sherrie, and her husband H.S. Williams and their children, Ethan and Shelby; a son, Kenny; many grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Leighanna.
